Tweets Pour in from Japan After Massive Quake
A powerful 8.9 magnitude earthquake struck the coast of Japan on Friday, causing widespread power outages, fires and a severe tsunami. With the country’s phone system knocked out, the number of tweets coming from Tokyo were topping 1,200 per minute within the first hour. Google has also set up an online crisis center for victims and concerned parties.
iPad 2 Now Available for Online Purchase
The iPad 2 is now available for purchase in Apple’s online store and will be available at retail locations at 5 p.m. local time today.
Charlie Sheen Death Hoax Spreads Malware Through Facebook
A malware scam announcing Charlie Sheen‘s alleged death has been spreading through Facebook.
