company originally was named the Country Peddlers and Company of America.
In 2002 they changed their business name to AtHome America and became one of
the industry leaders in the Home Furnishings & Decor direct sales industry.

AtHome America has a product line that includes an AtHome Gift Shop which
contains Christmas Entertaining, decorating & Entertaining Diva, stocking
stuffers, hostess gifts , gifts for mom and grandma, and much more. Plus
they offer candles & accessories, candleholders & Lanterns, bathroom
accessories, clocks, florals & wreaths, home accents, kitchen accents,
throws & pillows, wall decor & sings, accent furniture, indoor &
outdoor furniture, garden decor, and on and on. Just by browsing through
their catalog if you can’t find what you are looking for here I don’t think you
will find it. Besides most of the time when we shop at these type of
stores, we see something that wasn’t even on our list, but we like it and we
buy it anyway.
AtHome America Business Opportunity
You can become a Home Style
Specialist (consultant) of AtHome America by joining up and paying
$129.00 for your start up kit. But during different times of the year I
can see that they do come up with reduced start up costs. The only
requirement to remain an active Home Style Specialist is that you have to do at
least one HomeShow every 3 months that has a sales volume of at least
$150.00. You can earn commissions off of your own personal sales, your
HomeShow sales, and any catalog sales your customers make directly online with
the Company.

When you join AtHome America you will
receive a Company replicated personal website free for the first 3 months and
after that time period if you want to maintain the website you will be charged
$11.95 per month. All of the Company trainings and information needed by
a new consultant is available in their back office.
My Opinion
on AtHome America
By personally browsing through their
online products catalog, I can see why
AtHome America is one of the industry leaders in the Home Furnishings
& Decor direct sales industry. They have been in the business or a
long time and their compensation plan look very fair especially if you only
want a part time income.
If the home decor industry is one of
your hobbies or passions and you are looking to not only get great deals for
yourself but want to have your own business, then I give AtHome America a
thumbs up. But on that note, I believe that if you need to make this a
full time business you are going to not only have to market your product
locally to friends and family, their friends, and referrals, but you are going
to have dedicate yourself to MARKETING your AtHome America business on the internet to get those catalog sales
too.
